Our Qualsafe Level 4 Award in Out of Hospital Adult Immediate Life Support (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those providing emergency care in prehospital and high-risk environments. This specialist course develops the knowledge, clinical reasoning and practical skills required to manage adult cardiac arrest and life-threatening medical emergencies safely and effectively.
Aligned with guidance from the Resuscitation Council (UK) and current national prehospital standards, the qualification equips learners to recognise deterioration, initiate advanced life support interventions and coordinate resuscitation efforts within out-of-hospital settings.
Through practical, scenario-based training, candidates develop competence in high-quality CPR, safe AED use and airway management. In addition, the course strengthens team leadership as well as structured communication during emergency incidents. The course reinforces decision-making, patient safety and effective post-resuscitation management.

What is the First Aid at Work Course?
The First Aid at Work (RQF) Level 3 is a nationally recognised 3-day qualification. It is designed for workplaces that require comprehensive first aid provision under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
This qualification must be completed prior to the Out of Hospital Adult Immediate Life Support Level 4 (RQF) course start date.
The course develops the knowledge and practical skills required to manage workplace injuries and medical emergencies. This includes CPR, AED use, bleeding control, fractures and sudden illness.
It is suitable for appointed workplace first aiders in medium and high-risk environments. The qualification is valid for 3 years.

What is the Out of Hospital Paediatric Immediate Life Support Course?
The Out of Hospital Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who may be required to manage paediatric emergencies in prehospital or community settings.
