This course is clinically endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh – Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care.
Delivered through realistic scenarios, structured assessment and contextualised clinical practice, learners develop the ability to assess, treat and manage patients safely in complex situations. This Level 4 emergency care course prepares candidates for progression within ambulance services, event medical sectors and specialist response roles. Based in Charing, Kent, the training is easily commutable from London and surrounding areas.
Learners must complete and submit evidence of 118 hours of contextualised learning and/or CPD prior to the course start date, in line with Qualsafe requirements.
Overall, this advanced trauma-focused qualification builds upon FREC 3. As a result, it provides a recognised pathway towards higher-level prehospital and emergency care careers.

Do I need FREC 3 before FREC 4?
