Our Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely (RQF) Course in Kent is a nationally recognised manual handling qualification for individuals who assist and move people as part of their role. Delivered in Ashford, Kent, the course develops practical skills to reduce the risk of injury in workplace settings.
Aligned with National Occupational Standards (NOS) and HSE guidance, learners understand legal responsibilities, risk assessment and safer handling principles. In addition, they practise safe moving techniques individually and as part of a team, including the correct use of equipment.
This qualification is ideal for those starting a role involving moving people, returning to work, or completing refresher training. The certification is valid for three years.

What You Will Learn
This Moving People Safely Level 2 (RQF) is a nationally recognised manual handling qualification aligned with National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance. Our Moving People Safely Course in Kent develops the knowledge and practical skills required to assist and move people safely in workplace environments.

Course Structure
- Classroom training delivered in Ashford, Kent with practical, hands-on Moving People Safely instruction
- Guided Learning Hours (GLH): Minimum 12 hours | Total Qualification Time (TQT): 14 hours
- Two mandatory units covering legal responsibilities, risk assessment and safe handling techniques
- Practical assessment by observation plus multiple-choice questions (MCQ) for underpinning knowledge
- Maximum class size of 12 learners per trainer
- Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely (RQF), qualification valid for 3 years
