This 1-day course develops the essential knowledge and practical skills required to manage incidents safely and effectively until professional help arrives.
Aligned with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, this qualification supports employers in meeting their legal duty to provide appropriate first aid arrangements in the workplace. Learners gain competence in managing unresponsive casualties, performing CPR and AED use, controlling bleeding, treating shock and responding to minor injuries.
Through practical, scenario-based training and continuous assessment, candidates build the confidence to respond promptly to workplace emergencies. The course combines hands-on practical assessments with a multiple-choice theory assessment to ensure competence.
