We collect the deceased from any location and transport them to a mortuary in the UK or anywhere in Europe with our long distance private ambulance bariatric deceased repatriation service.
We assist funeral directors, The Coroners Office, Police, hospitals and the public, with collection and removal of deceased persons.
We are bariatric patient movement specialists, with winches fitted to the ambulances and support vehicles on standby to assist with equipment identified as required.
We have crews on standby with the appropriate private ambulance vehicles and training, lifting and movement equipment and consideration with respect, dignity and security in both private and public places.
We are mobilised to carry out difficult extractions with support and experience of difficult and often sensitive requests, often working alongside Fire and Rescue when high access is needed.
Our specially fitted bariatric ambulance is assisted by our ambulance support vehicle, carrying our specialised equipment needed, including bariatric body bags, lifting handles, strops and slides accommodating a person weighing up to 310kg (48.8 stone).

Our bariatric recovery offers reinforced stretchers, larger body bags, and lifting devices to safely handle and transport bariatric bodies. We are experiences in the management of the physical and logistical challenges of handling larger bodies, ensuring both safety and dignity. We work with the coroner to clearly define the logistics and work with the Police to ensure a swift and risk-free body removal service.
Our private ambulances are appropriately equipped and spacious enough to accommodate the size and weight of the deceased individual as well as access for the staff undertaking the removal.
Handling and transporting deceased bariatric bodies, must comply with specific health and safety regulations to protect our staff and ensure respectful treatment of the body and it’s condition. We ensure that our staff, the police, fire and rescue and undertakers are as safe as possible and work with all agencies on a clear plan and what to do in the event of any issues.
