Bariatric Deceased Specialists.

Our bariatric recovery offers reinforced stretchers, larger body bags, and lifting devices to safely handle and transport bariatric bodies. We are experiences in the management of the physical and logistical challenges of handling larger bodies, ensuring both safety and dignity. We work with the coroner to clearly define the logistics and work with the Police to ensure a swift and risk-free body removal service.

Our private ambulances are appropriately equipped and spacious enough to accommodate the size and weight of the deceased individual as well as access for the staff undertaking the removal.

Handling and transporting deceased bariatric bodies, must comply with specific health and safety regulations to protect our staff and ensure respectful treatment of the body and it’s condition. We ensure that our staff, the police, fire and rescue and undertakers are as safe as possible and work with all agencies on a clear plan and what to do in the event of any issues.
