Event Medical Cover
We provide comprehensive Medical Event Cover for first aid at events across the south of England. As a CQC-regulated service, we operate a fleet of 60 ambulances staffed by fully trained medical professionals. Our team is equipped to triage, treat, provide medical advice, and, if necessary, safely transport patients to hospital.
At BM Ambulance Group, our diverse fleet of 60 vehicles includes Emergency Ambulances, Patient Transport Ambulances, welfare units, cars, motorcycles, 4×4 vehicles, and even a quad bike for off-road access and endurance events. To enhance mobility at large venues, we also operate pedal cycle response units—staying fit is part of the job!
Our staff undergo rigorous training to ensure the highest standards of care in every area. Skills are regularly updated to remain current with best practices. As a CQC-regulated organisation, we are committed to providing safe, compassionate, and responsive services tailored to individual needs. We also support you in crafting an effective event management plan, including adherence to Safety Advisory Group (SAG) requirements.
If you would like a quotation for your event please fill in this form.
We collaborate closely with SAG, ensuring the cover for your event is precisely tailored—not excessive, nor insufficient, but just right. This customised plan is submitted for SAG approval. Additionally, we coordinate with local hospitals to account for any increase in patient numbers due to your event. We also work with the local ambulance trust to establish clear communication channels; in the event of a 999 call within the event’s footprint, we are the first point of contact. Of course, the local ambulance trust will support us if needed, but our goal is to manage situations independently whenever possible.
Developing a robust medical plan is integral to our service. With over 10 years of experience supporting events across the south of England, we ensure all documentation is prepared accurately and on time. Before every event, our staff are thoroughly briefed on potential scenarios, including a review of the major incident plan. We believe it’s better to be over-prepared than under-prepared. All our operations follow JESIP (Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles) to ensure smooth coordination during any major incident.
