At BM Ambulance Group we provide expert assistance to funeral directors, the police, and fire services with difficult extractions and body recovery. Our experienced teams are fully trained to handle challenging situations with the utmost care, sensitivity, and professionalism.
We are a CQC-regulated service, ensuring that all our operations meet the highest standards of safety, care, and professionalism. Our fleet consists of 60 fully equipped vehicles, including specialised ambulances and support vehicles, ready to respond swiftly and efficiently to any request.
With a team of 130 highly trained staff, we have the manpower and expertise to handle a range of complex cases. From bariatric body recovery to extractions in hard-to-reach areas, we are equipped with state-of-the-art tools and equipment to ensure every task is carried out with the highest degree of dignity and respect.
Additionally, we have our own on-site mortuary fridge, ensuring secure, refrigerated storage of the deceased. Our facilities meet rigorous health and safety standards, and we are equipped to manage short-term storage with utmost care.

Booking Form
We assist funeral directors, the Coroner’s Office, police, hospitals, and the public with the collection, removal, and onward transport of deceased persons. Our crews are on standby, equipped with the appropriate vehicles and fully trained to handle each case with the utmost consideration and respect. We ensure the safe, dignified transport of individuals, whether in private or public spaces.
We also offer a specialised service for extracting individuals using specialist equipment. This innovative equipment allows us to safely move a person or body down stairs and onto the awaiting ambulance, all while maintaining care and dignity.
Our team specialises in challenging extractions and sensitive cases, frequently working alongside the police to manage difficult and often delicate requests.
Our uniformed crews are on standby, ready with discreet unmarked or marked private ambulances for the collection, recovery, and transport of the deceased. When authorised, we can blue light convoy with the Police to ensure a swift and secure process.
Our ambulances are equipped with a range of specialised equipment, and we also provide backup support for challenging extractions or access and height issues. This includes bariatric extraction, transfer, and storage services.
As a privately owned and operated service, we are flexible and can accommodate most requests, provided they are safe, compassionate, and dignified.
